I don’t
consider myself to be “out of style” or in desperate need of help, but I found
Maggie’s consultation very enlightening. She took my look slightly
outside of my “normal” and had some great tips. For example, because of
my skin tone, she suggested that I put a deep color near my face when I wear a
light colored jacket or shirt.
She helped with the organization of my closet so that I can more easily mix and match, realize what I already have, and think about mixing and matching instead of wearing every shirt and jacket I have only with black pants (which she found that I have 7 pairs of!). In going through my closet, we made a list of what I was missing (basic colored pants other than black like grey, brown, navy and a few other things).
The shopping trip was very helpful as well. She made me try on several things that I would not have picked out, and they looked great! It certainly helps to have an objective set of trained eyes come in and give you a fresh look on your wardrobe. Overall it was an excellent experience that I would recommend to anyone!

I wasn’t quite sure what
to expect when I first signed up for Maggie’s services. I knew my closet needed help, but I didn’t
know if this was for a common person who doesn’t have a glamorous life. After all, a wardrobe consultant sounds so
elite!
I was nervous when she
told me I was going to try everything on for her, but she made me feel so at
ease. I ended up really enjoying that
part. I would model each piece and
together we’d decide if it was a flattering look for me. She helped me to see how versatile one item
could be. She made several new outfits
out of my existing clothes. I felt like I
had new things, without having to spend any money.
After the overhaul of my
existing clothes, she made a list of items my wardrobe still needed. I’m usually intimidated when I walk into a
store. It seems like I don’t know where
to begin, but Maggie guided me through and helped me find the clothes that would
work on my body type. She was always
mindful of my pocket book. She focused
on finding sales and buying mainly classic pieces that weren’t too faddish and
were of good quality and construction.
